Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Physical Education
MEDIUM: ENGLISH
Applications are hereby invited to follow the above Degree Programme from suitable candidates who possess the minimum University admission requirements for the academic year 2020/2021.
Eligibility for Admissions
Those who wish to follow the Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Physical Education should have obtained atleast three “S” grades in any three subjects at G.C.E (A/L) exam 2020 in a stream and minimum marks of 30 for the Common General Paper within three attempts.
Method of Evaluation
Applications will be evaluated as proposed below:
| Theory test | To evaluate candidates’ knowledge related to Physical Education |
| Practical Test | To evaluate candidates’ physical fitness and playing ability |
| Previous Sports Achievements | Marks will be allocated for previous sports achievements. Candidates should upload scanned copies of certificates of their highest sports achievements along with their applications (details are available in the application form). |
Candidates who apply for Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Physical Education should sit for an Aptitude Test which would be conducted jointly by the University of Jaffna and Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka. The Aptitude Test will be conducted in English. Due to the COVID–19 pandemic situation selection test will be conducted via online.

Note: After completion of the online application procedure, the candidate must Download and sign the printed Pdf file and sent to the Assistant Registrar/ Admission Branch, University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka under registered post with the along with all the original documents. (Please indicate “BSc in Physical Education” in the top left hand corner of the envelope)
Deadline for Application: 10.06.2021
Eligible candidates will receive the admission card for the aptitude test only via email. The date of the aptitude test will also be notified via email.
Payment Method
Application fee of Rs.1000/= should be made in any branch of the Peoples’ Bank in favor of the University of Jaffna Account No. 440002410001667.
