Calling Applications for Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) (Honours) in Primary Education Degree Programme (Level 03) – Academic Year 2022/2023

Conducted by Faculty of Education, The Open University of Sri Lanka (OUSL)

Students can obtain a certificate of Higher Diploma in Primary Education Programme by completing Level 3 & Level 4 (2 Years)

Admission Requirements (Qualifications)

• Applicant should be 18 years or over on the closing date of applications,
  AND
• At least three (03) passes at the GCE (A/L) Examination and six (06) passes at the GCE (O/L) Examination including First Language & Mathematics, OR
• Successfully completed the Advanced Certificate in Pre-School Education Programme conducted by the OUSL, OR
• at least pass grades in a minimum of thirty (30) course credits or granted exemptions at SLQF Level 2 of any foundation programme conducted by the OUSL and six (06) passes at the GCE O/L examination including First Language and Mathematics, OR
• Primary Trained Teachers’ Certificate offered by Government Teacher Training Colleges, OR
• an equivalent or higher qualification acceptable to the Senate.

Selection Test – All qualified applicants should sit for a selection Test to be conducted by the OUSL on 29th May 2022 (Time – 10.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.)
